The Politics of Abortion and Homosexuality: Intro

02/8/2012 @ 6:45pm

I’m going to take this on.  Reluctantly.  Oh, yeah.

Why?  Why would I delve into this swamp on a gun/second amendment/national defense blog?

Because all of our liberties are linked.  If we blow this next election, Eric Holder may be nominated to the Supreme Court.  Think about that for a minute.  Does that get your attention?  Think that’s better for America than electing Rick Santorum?

The Left constantly seeks to fragment conservative, liberty-loving America and we are such suckers.  They knew when they nationalized abortion and homosexuality that they would fragment us, and, damn it, it is working for them.  I do not really want to have to write about abortion and homosexual gamesmanship, but the Marxist-agnostic-collectivist Left has successfully brainwashed all of us to reject any otherwise good candidate over “social issues.”

When I say “us” I am including every American who loves freedom, regardless of what you lick, where you put it, or when–if ever–you last set foot in church.  Your characteristics and quirks are for you to work out with God and your fellow man-woman-whatever.  If your inclination is to tell everybody else to leave you the hell alone, but you can’t stand anyone who thinks abortion and homosexual sex are immoral, then just be open-minded; be inclusive; get a fresh point of view.  These issues do not have to neuter us—politically speaking.  That’s what they want.

For, “social issues” these days translates to abortion and homosexual carousing around.  And, the Democrat Party is successfully dividing American patriots of all—persuasions—over “social issues” so that they can continue their course.  They delight in our squabbles and inconsistencies.

So, later.  I have got to get some work done, and this subject will, well, take some time.

Agreed. When the Democratic Socialist party has become a footnote in history, then the Liberty and Freedom Party and the Constitutional Conservative Party can debate social issues. Until then, the only thing that matters is voting in candidates at all levels who vow to limit governmental power and promote sound fiscal policy.
