It’s bad enough that we are bankrupt with $16 trillion dollars in debt.  But, for just a moment, put yourselves into the shoes of the men and women who actually pay taxes, the people who literally sit down with pen in hand, move money from their savings into checking so that they can write checks to the government.  Do you think they are happy to see that the money they worked to earn goes to pay for this abomination?
